Try to spray the underside of the leaves. Remember that Bifen IT is non-selective and will kill the good guys, such as bees and butterflies so avoid spraying any flowering parts because that is where the bees go. We need to save the bees!!! The 3/4-gallon size is the best value, but consider the one-gallon container because it has a tip and measurement device. The tip and measure makes life easier when mixing.

Mosquito and Tick Control
Bifen I/T is highly regarded for its effectiveness in managing mosquitoes and ticks. For optimal results, it is advised to apply the solution generously across lawns and vegetation, focusing on the undersides of leaves to avoid flowering areas. It's important to be mindful that Bifen I/T is non-selective and could impact beneficial pollinators like bees and butterflies. The recommended application rates typically vary from 0.33 to 1 ounce per gallon, with coverage ranging from 1 to 3 gallons per 1,000 square feet, depending on the density of the vegetation. Monthly reapplication is recommended, particularly targeting areas with dense foliage and shrubs where mosquitoes and ticks are most likely to thrive. -
Mole Cricket Control
Mole cricket nymphs can inflict damage on grass throughout the summer months. Effective control with Bifen I/T is achieved by applying it towards late April or early May in southern coastal states, and by late May in Carolina coastal areas. Proper timing is crucial, as young mole crickets cause the most significant harm to grass. -
Flea Control
Bifen I/T is also highly recommended for outdoor flea control due to its effectiveness. For optimal results, mix 1 ounce of Bifen I/T with 2-4 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet to target both adult fleas and their larvae. It is advisable to use higher water volumes to ensure the solution penetrates the soil where larvae may be present, effectively interrupting their life cycle.
